Monday- We will discuss 2021 in review. Tuesday- We define religions and share what we know about world religions.
Wednesday-We will compare and contrast Eastern and Western Religions.
Thursday- We will define then compare and contrast the Abrahamic Religions.
Friday- We will review what we learned for the week and have time to complete assignments.
CullenCLASS Experiences for Week of Dec 20th
Monday- We will discuss the types on commonalities we see in holidays. Tuesday- We will watch clips from the Seinfeld Festivus episode and see how it matches up to what we learned about holidays on Monday. One SLIDER due.
Wednesday-Students will have time to complete classwork and review what we have learned through a game.
Thursday- Grade wide activity

CullenCLASS Experiences for Week of Dec 13th
Monday- Political Parties will campaign in states. We will review for our quiz & students will have time to work on assignments. Tuesday- Political Parties will campaign in states and then students will take a quiz on the information that we learned.
Wednesday-Political Parties will campaign in states and will be introduced to the One Slider project and will have the rest of the time to work on their assignments.
Thursday- Political Parties will campaign in states and have the rest of the class time to work on their assignments..
Friday- After taking their final campaign moves, students will have the rest of the time to work on their assignments. Persuaive paper due today.

Monday- Political Parties will campaign in states and begin developing the party's platform on issues. Students will then work on an EdPuzzle citing the problems of the Electoral College. Tuesday-Political Parties will campaign in states and continue developing the party's platform on issues. Students will then work on an EdPuzzle citing the benefits of the Electoral College.
Wednesday-Political Parties will campaign in states and continue developing the party's platform on issues and make a T-Chart of the pros and cons of theElectoral College.
Thursday- Political Parties will campaign in states and continue developing the party's platform on issues. Students will begin to work on their Issue Statement Paragraph.
Friday- After another campaign move in the game, students will review the concepts we have been learning about the Electoral College.
CullenCLASS Experiences for Week of Nov. 22nd
Monday- students will define the terms Liberal, Conservative, and Moderate, learn how they are developed in American politics, & understand other terms that apply to them in our system (Red/Blue, Left/Right, etc). In our Election Game, they will need to choose which Philosophy will lead their political party. Tuesday- students will learn about Primary and Caucuses through an EdPuzzle as in the game they will select their Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates (based on current and historical figures). They will also learn the game mechanics on how they will campaign in each state.
Wednesday- In an abbreviated class, students will learn about the first Thanksgiving (400th anniversary)
CullenCLASS Experiences for Week of Nov. 15th
Monday- we will look at some of the artistic and architectural accomplishments of the Byzantine Romans such as mosaics, the Hagia Sophia, and Hippodrome. Tuesday- was Justinian really "Great" or was he horrible. Students will read two views written by a contemporary. CONSTANTINOPLE AD DUE
