With the new marking period comes a new unit...The Byzantine Roman Empire, History's New Coke.

Be ready to supply your kids with another example of a change in something iconic for a project we will be working on.


Week11 Daddy Tax

The Marking Period is about to end, nothing is due this week in history.  Hopefully students use this time to complete missing assignments.
And it's the final week of our Election Game in class.  The presidential election may not be decided by Wednesday morning, but our class' elections will be.

I extended the due date for the extra credit paragraph from last week and the date to complete the online, open note test retake.There is also the last extra credit of the marking period as well.

We will have our first assignment, creating a digital book about the perfect classroom based on what we learned about government and laws. And then we will pivot to learn why humanities courses, and history in particular are important classes.
